Amina is an American fashion designer and the creator of the contemporary women’s label, AM by Amina J.  Amina is dedicated to, “taking a piece of clothing and changing women’s perception of it.”- Sophia Amoruso

Amina grew up on the east side of Atlanta, GA. When she was in grade school, she was introduced to garment construction by her mother and sisters. She began her fashion designer career with constructing custom clothing for clients attending major events around the country. As the orders continued to stream in, Amina decided to brand her creations. Her brain child was aptly named Abstruse Mannerism, abbreviated AM, because she wants her brand to serve as an outlet for individuals to express their own hidden creative attitudes.

AM by Amina J’s designs have been worn by various social media influencers, including some of Atlanta’s top young professionals.

AM by Amina J has been seen in Detroit, California, New York, Miami, Dominican Republic, and Paris.
